Aside from LAHSC, Sam works as the Head Writing Fellow for LAH 102H and as a Teaching Fellow for 103H, serves as the Head Copyeditor for the Texas Orator, and volunteers with UT MicroFarm. Sam plans to attend graduate school for political science after graduating from UT, studying political knowledge and public opinion. In her free time, she loves to read, take long walks, hike ‘round Texas, and enjoy live music. Last spring, Sam participated in the Normandy Scholars Program.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, drinking coffee, and watching the Texas Longhorns play football! She also serves as the Research Director of the Texas Children's Advocacy Initiative, an LAH Student Ambassador, and an LAH Student Admissions Reader.
